Saturday, 14th January 2023: ASKGURU hosted a one of its kind “Grab A+ SPM Carnival” that is co-organized with UNITAR International University and sponsored by Carsome, Hausboom, Langkawi Pure, HiBlender, and Pan Asia Publications.
The Grab A+ SPM Carnival is our nation’s first-ever combination of “Motivational” & “Academical” sessions that empowers students to further their knowledge beyond the classroom wall. We have invited renowned featured speakers from various backgrounds and celebrities such as “Joe Flizzow”, “Harith Iskander” and the Co-founder of Carsome “Teoh Jiun Ee” to share their insights on how they pave their journey to be successful young entrepreneurs. We invited six (6) academic teachers that have vast experience to provide insights tips, and answering techniques to the students.

The event is held for two (2) days and managed to lure more than 500 Form 5 students across various states such as Penang, Melaka, Kelantan, Kedah, Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, and many more. Furthermore, it was broadcasted on social media (Facebook-live) for 2 days and attracted a total number of 2000 online participants.

In conjunction with the event, ASKGURU’s Chief Executive Officer, Justin Chang introduced its digital application that will revolutionize the way students do revision studies. He gave a brief introduction about ASKGURU, stating that we are an education technology in short (EduTech) start-up that aims to help every student with Score-A strategies that master them pursue their academic and career goals.
The application will empower students from secondary school to score better results in their upcoming 2023 SPM (Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia). ASKGURU is in line with the Mission of the Ministry to encourage more students to pursue their academics in the “Science Steam” classes and make digital education a more effective and efficient way to study. ASKGURU will continue to support and strengthen the education industry by;
- Empowering Malaysians toward a digital era of education.
- Solve literature issues and numeracy issues.
- Increase the number of intakes in the science stream classes
- Help the B40 families who are having a hard time coping with their kid’s education. (Aid the unfortunate students who want to pursue their studies)
